Starting age for 1st year: 4, 5, and 6
Music educators have long taught that the young child learns best through PLAY, EXPERIENCE & DISCOVERY. Let's Play Music uses play as the medium through which difficult concepts & skills are learned.
Curriculum is organized into 3 sequential years...
- 1st year- Engaging games & songs used to incorporate tone bells to teach staff awareness and rhythm reading skills.
- 2nd year- Year one skills transfer into playing the piano & learning chord notation, intervals, and harmonic improvisation.
- By end of 3rd year- Students play piano at level 1-2, transpose music, compose own music, sight-read music, and are prepared to excel in further private piano instruction.
